Matthew Cooke – proprietor of The Training Co has been an independent training provider since May 1996. Based in Bolton, we are proud of our status as a preferred supplier of training courses for many Councils in the North West of England. Our commitment to providing quality training has also helped us gain prestigious commercial clients both in the UK and Europe. As a training organisation we are no different from any other, we offer courses which meet our client’s needs, at times to suit – weekends, evenings and split sessions, with courses that are widely available. But this is where the similarities stop! We are a progressive training company, from booking through to delivery, clients are in contact with a Communication Manager who assists from start to finish; our Trainers have a wealth of industry experience which they adapt to the needs of the delegates; our training does not stop in the classroom!
The UK’s litigious system has become reliant on proving ‘due diligence’ and doing what is reasonable to ensure accidents don’t happen. The question most prosecutors will use is, ‘What training, updates and information have you received since you have been qualified?’. This question is far-reaching, if the employer has sent staff on a course just because they have to, there is a strong possibility of the legal system biting them as they will be unable to prove skills have been kept up-to-date. The Training Company helps with this, every candidate can be enrolled onto a developing system, which will help the employer prove that their staff’s knowledge and skills were being kept as fresh as during their initial qualification! Those enrolled will continue to receive free due diligence information via email, and after completion, the candidate can sign it and hand it to their manager to be kept in their records. This information is not ‘over-loaded’ and is designed to make the reader think about their workplace, ask questions of themselves or others and progressively move towards a more informed and safer environment.
The Training Company is a Premium Center and is one of the largest independent providers of CIEH, IOSH, TQUK and MHFA qualifications in the UK. Our core business is split between 4 subject areas – First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Mental Health– within these we are also able to deliver various other courses i.e Risk Assessment and Paediatric First Aid. As we are registered with the lead Awarding Bodies, such as the CIEH, IOSH, TQUK and MHFA – we us Highfield for our eLearning courses, therefore we are able to provide the qualifications at the level you require, and as important, at a cost which is competitive.
