Create your own course is our bespoke training service. If none of our standard courses is quite right — because of your industry, your shift pattern, your site, or a mix of subjects you want covering in one visit — we will build the training around you and deliver it at your premises. Most employers are well served by a standard, accredited course. Some are not. If any of the following sounds like you, a bespoke course is likely to be cheaper and more useful than forcing your team through something that only half fits.
When a bespoke course is the right answer

What stays fixed
One thing we will not bend: where you need an accredited qualification, the course has to meet the awarding organisation’s requirements for content, duration and assessment. A shortened “bespoke” version of First Aid at Work is not First Aid at Work, and a certificate that says otherwise is worth nothing to you if it is ever tested.
So bespoke work usually takes one of two forms, and we will tell you plainly which one you are getting:

Combinations that work well
Some pairings genuinely fit into a single visit, and some do not. From experience:
- Works: a full accredited qualification plus a short awareness session on a related topic
- Works: refresher sessions for several teams across one day, run back to back
- Works: the same half-day session repeated to cover three shifts
- Does not work: two full accredited qualifications in one day — and we will say so rather than take the booking
How it works
- Tell us what you need. What your people do, how many there are, where you are, and what you are trying to achieve.
- We propose a course. Content, duration, whether it can be accredited, and a fixed price.
- You approve it. Nothing is booked until you are happy with the outline and the cost.
- We deliver it at your site, on your dates.
- Certificates follow, along with a record you can keep on file as evidence of training.

Prefer something off the shelf?
If a standard course would do the job, it will usually be quicker and cheaper. Our group courses are delivered at your premises for up to 12 people at a fixed price per course, and our open courses let you book individual places for one or two people.

Often, yes — where the combined content genuinely fits the time available. Combining a short awareness session with a full qualification usually works; combining two full qualifications into one day does not, and we will say so.Can you combine two subjects into one day?
At your premises, in most cases — that is usually the point of a bespoke course, because the training can then use your own environment and equipment. If your site is not suitable we can discuss alternatives.Where will the training take place?

Yes, and it is one of the commonest bespoke requests. Repeating a shorter session to cover nights, earlies and lates usually works better than trying to get everyone into one room on one day.Can you run the same session across several shifts?
Tell us what you need when you enquire. Delivery style, pace and materials can be adjusted for mixed-ability or multilingual teams, and it is far better to raise it beforehand than to discover it on the day.Can you deliver training in other languages, or adapt it?
